The overall size of brake components can vary widely between trim levels of a single model. Modern Spare is careful to ensure brake clearance is accounted for on each model we support.
Accounting for large high-performance brakes while simultaneously maintaining proper wheel offset is quite an accomplishment on our part. It is difficult to design a spare tire that accounts for both. Increasing negative wheel offset is a simple way to increase brake clearance but compromises how the weight of your vehicle is supported by the spare.
When entering your vehicle year, make and model info into our search tool, brake clearance has been accounted for. If a larger wheel is needed, your model will have designated options shown in the search tool. If you do have concerns about fitment, need additional confirmation or have a vehicle model that may have unique requirements, please connect with our support staff. We are happy to help.
