Where can I find the "jack points" or lift points on my vehicle?

Modern vehicles have very specific locations where the jack must be placed to raise the car properly. Your vehicle owner's manual should have information on the jacking points and their locations.

If you can't locate information about jack point locations in your vehicle owner's manual, the lift points are typically marked under the vehicle's side rails, just behind the front wheel or in front of the rear wheel. Many cars will feature arrows indicating the correct lifting locations.

Please note: Jacking your vehicle at the proper lift or jacking points is extremely important. If you are unsure whether you have identified the correct jack point locations, please do not proceed to raise the vehicle until you can confirm.
